When I saw that module I thought the paint had worn / scratched off it ( a bit like my old micro modular )
It’s artwork … and intentional .
I think I’d have preferred plain

Not wild on the gold print, but otherwise this looks very interesting - might be easy enough to rebox into a more sturdy shell, with sides.
had been pondering a compact juno-esque fizzy sounding ‘80s’ vibe synth for a long while, Dreadbox Nymphes or Vongon Replay - this looks to have some of those timbres, and potentially more.

Tried to buy one last night but the checkout was acting strange…kept trying to sell me like 5 of em and I couldn’t reset it to just one unit. Checked again just now and it’s sold out 
yeh they went super fast hope the price holds for the next batch!
I sent a request asking if the one off production batch was referring to this gold plate version or the whole product. They answered:
‘It’s the MASK1EX itself which is a limited edition, it is almost already sold out. We might make a new version of it at some point or start a pre-ordering campaign if there is enough demand.’
But now the product page sais:
‘It seems that this product was victim of its own success. We’re deeply sorry that we do not have more stock. Consider subscribing to the newsletter or following us on Instagram of Facebook to get informed about future releases.’

The receipt number is a big one (8 digits), so not much indication from that
Ended up ordering one, glad I made the cutoff. The Mask1 had been on my radar for a while, but I just couldn’t justify the price. Was excited to see the desktop version. Hopefully they make more for the folks who couldn’t grab one in time. Seems like mine will ship Oct 3.

Yeah, I didn’t make it in time. Oh well, I don’t currently have enough time to play the things I have enough. 
Love the Mask though, so maybe sometime in the future.
Wow, 299 for the Desktop version is insanely tempting. Literally can’t believe it’s that cheap!?

Just to be clear, as discussed earlier, the EX version isn’t just the keyboard system repackaged. That said it is a great value for what you do get, if you are committed to the system and the sound.
It would be fun to consider ( in the appropriate thread ) what the same treatment taken on the EssenceFM might be like.

Wonder what impact the 8x oversampling instead of 16x makes though… and if they will be replenishing stocks?!
I’m not in a hurry, so I’m okay with that. Buying things impulsively is not my thing to begin with.

I did see that and took it into consideration when I wrote that post. It’s still an insanely cheap price imo.

Liking the sounds of this - perhaps even the lower resampling of the Ex adds to the vintage synthwave appeal …
If someone could do some tests to see if the limitations vs the fullsize version are noticeable that would be great.
