Seems as the MK1 will be compatible with the new 2.0 software. No need for a hardware update. The pricing for the Maschine Studio is much to high!
Agreed, I already have the mk1 hardware (and v1.8 software) so I’ll probably just update the software to v2.0 for the multi core support and the built in drum synths. The screens on the maschine studio DO look super sexy though 
Seconded. I am totally happy with Mk.1 controller, especially given the Studio price. My only concern is - will the software 2.0 update be free for all the previous Maschine owners?
Studio price would have to include the v2 hardware as well, no?
So, it is basically like a hybrid Maschine / Kore scenario?
I am pretty sure it is $99 to upgrade to the 2.0 software. Not bad considering they have recoded everything from the ground-up. I am sure they throw in Massive with it too, but I am sure you probably already have that.
