Making music in the browser

I thought it would be fun to list some in-browser music websites, when we want to fiddle something at home.

Here are some:

Bookmarked - thanks!

Great thread idea. I’m actually working on a browser-based minimalist generative sequencer at the moment. It’s not much currently, but I have a list of features I’d like to implement, like webmidi etc.

Work in progress version here if anyone wants to have a play:

I’ll be keeping that page updated as I work on it.

WAM Synths are worth a mention. They have browser versions of OBXD, DEXED, TAL-NoiseMaker, and a CZ-101.

Wow, this looks amazing!

Here’s a new one :grinning:

Have not played myself but looks interesting and I’ll give it a go soon.

  • aaaaaand it loads of fun. If I had this when I was a kid it would have immediately gone out and bought a drum machine.

There is nothing you can do to the drum sounds. Zero configuration besides 8 steps, tempo and a random fill. The 303 you have 6 possible notes, cut - res - env. You can record too.

And who cares! It sounds really good and is just fun to play. Whatever you put in sounds rad. Bluetooth to the big speakers in the living room and jam out different patterns.

This one reminds me of GarageBand’s drum sequencer a lot. Easy to play with.

This website makes me smile  and I’ve only explored a few of the modules. Thanks for sharing!

was kinda my main DAW from 2009 - 2013 and gained quite a followership there. fits a boring office job perfectly well

here‘s a track of mine only using synths and their 808 clone:

should dive back in there sometimes because they added a nice mastering suite and a couple of funky reverbs.
