I sold and sent my MD to a fellow elektronaut who lives in US and I sent him my european PS with it.
Will it work there if you just change the “figure eight” cable into the adapter?

Yes. They take from 100-240 volts and both 50 and 60 hz.

Is this for a MKI or MKII?
Please read the input spec of the transformer! PSU-1 can NOT be used by just changing the input cable. That can damage the PSU and machine.

Original (and now obsolete) Elektron power supply: PSU-1 (two versions depending on voltage standard)

Please note that the power supply output must be AC!

The power supply you want to use must meet the following specifications:

  • Voltage: 6 VAC, 50/60Hz
  • Minimum Current Rating: 2.5 A
  • Barrel Connector Size: 5.5 mm outer diameter, 2.5 mm inner diameter, 6 mm length

Apparently my power supply isn’t the original ? (I guess PSU 1 should be written on it ?)
If someone can show a picture of a PSU-1 please…

Pretty big, maybe like 4 PSU-2 joined together. Works well and seems reliable anyway…
