I have an old Machinedrum SPS-1 MK-ii and I have had my eye on the Octatrack for a while. Now that there is a MKii of the Octatrack, I am wondering if I should sell my Machinedrum in order to buy it. Opinions?

Assuming you have investigated the feature set and workflow of the Octatrack - what do you hope to gain by trading your MD for one? It’s such an open-ended question - what’s good for one isn’t for another, but people will be more than happy to answer questions which are slightly more targeted.
