I’m fairly certain I know the answer to this after messing with it, but it’s not specifically mentioned in the section of the manual and I can’t find anything addressing it with google, not even the tips n tricks doc.
Is there logic that dictates the order of operations for mute groups?
If I have a kick on track 1, and set that tracks mute group to 12, it’s NOT muting track 12 when track 1 plays.
Conversely, if I set track 12 mute group to 1, track 1 IS muted when track 12 plays.
As I said, the manual doesn’t mention whether a track has to be ‘downstream’ but that does seem to be the case. Can anybody else confirm?
