I’ve been looking for any stereo 96k fx unit that could compete with the RMX-1000. I’m hopeful that dubby is the one. Open source makes this very cool in comparison

Had a brief walkthrough of the RYK prototype from Jake at SynthFest last week. It’s a 4 channel audio looper. Looks very playable.

Four track audio looper, in Eurorack, with a good variety of flexible controls, recording, two channels of output, plus effects. Screen UI for control feedback. All kinds of uses.

All this Eurorack stuff has given me an insight into the future of electronic music. It will be the thing that keeps the whole show going as the possibilities are endless. I can see polys and other gear dying out like they did before.
So there had to have been something else that was behind the closed doors, looking back now in retrospect.
They kept the Digitone II under their hats, that’s for sure!

I pressed them on new releases and the Tonverk rumours and other than what they released publicly all I got was a wry smile and a watch this space on upcoming releases.

Tickets are going on sale soon for Machina Bristronica 2025, so I thought I’d check in - who’s going again, who wants to go shopping couldn’t last year, do you have any wishes for this year’s event?
I’m not involved with the creation of this event in any way, but it’s in my hometown and the organisers are wicked.
