Mac doesn't see Digitakt : (

Trying to update from 1.10 to 1.11. Connect USB to Digitakt and mac but transfer can’t see it. Also it does not appear in audio midi setup on the mac. I tried the USB cable with another device and that showed up in audio midi setup right away. any help would be amazing

Mac - Mojave 10.14.4
Digitakt 1.10

Use C6 for now

Make sure that the DT is in USB Midi mode (not Overbridge mode! In Settings->System->USB Config), then it should show up in Audio MIDI Setup, and you can use c6 as @avantronica noted to send the Sysex.

That’s exactly the thing I forget every time I need to update the firmware on my Digitakt. It’s always solved by the simplest solutions!

My pleasure to visit as ever. I’m a very committed Digitakt, Analog Four and Analog Heat user and abuser

It’s always so beautiful as well–beautiful abuse? I’m sure that’s a beat port genre…

I got it working but now Overbridge can’t see the Digitakt. Honestly I spent too much time working on this yesterday so I unplugged USB and moved back into hardware only and using Ableton as a multi-track recorder. Oh well, maybe when it moves out of beta I will try again.

You need to put it back into Overbridge mode to use Overbridge (yes, it’s annoying!)
