On both M:C and M:S, the pitch parameter can go 24± and between each step there are 10 sub divisions. Naturally this fine resolution cant be controlled by midi CC since it only range 0-127.
I want to record my pitch knob tweaking on a midi daw, but when I play back the automation there is terrible stepping. It seems both M:S and M:C are only transmitting whole Pitch CC in semitones, but on the unit it is controllable by 1/10 of a semitone. So this makes it impossible to automate fine pitch tweakings.
Am I missing something?
It seems really useless if the midi CC can only control 1/10th step of what the machine is doing on the pitch knob.
Why are they not using 14bit CC on the pitch knob?
