Never did understand why you sold it in the first place.
I get that you moved to Max, but it seems like this was the one piece that couldn“t really be replicated in software.

But im glad you got the pink… its purdy!

I really got interested in lyra-8 and would like to try what kind of soundscapes I could create with it. But money does not grow in trees so I was happy to discover the free lira-8 vst plugin. However I had no luck getting the lira running on my M1 Mac. Anyone else got the plugin running on modern macs? On the latest versions it seems the M1 chip is supported…

I“ve compared the Lira-8 to my Lyra-8 yesterday and while the Oscillators are quite similar, the LFO behavior is different. There are way more chaotic interactions (in a good way) in the Lyra-8. To me, the Lyra-8 can get way grittier (if I like). I thought, that the Lira-8 would let me get rid of my Lyra-8. I“d choose the Lira-8, if I need something more predictable but the Lyra-8 is a samling heaven - even if I don“t use drones.

Edit: the delay is noisier and imho better on the Lyra-8, too.

More like elephants mating with crickets.

Not mutually exclusive.

Anything like the Lyra that doesn’t sound like the Lyra? I’m tired of the Lyra sound but the instrument design is fantastic.
