Thanks, instant purchase from a master of the breaks!
Now to stick them in the OT… mega break of doom?

Love it.
This might sound stupid, but how are they done ? Is it drums played by Vibert himself ?
Edit : some of them are clearly known breaks already chopped and programmed. I don’t get the point.

I’m a fan of Vibert since Throbbing Pouch and rate much of his work. But this is a bit crap. It’s a bunch of well known breaks, fiddled with, stuff you can get elsewhere for free. They may be copyright-free from Vibert, but there’s no way he cleared the orig samples.

yes I instantly downloaded them. But now listening trough them, I know/already have many of these

Thank for confirming that I’m not that stupid.
Massive fan of Vibert (especially Wagon Christ) as well, but, huh ?

Fortunately I don’t have loads of sample banks with this stuff on. I have a cd copy of the Winston Brothers album for the Amen break, but thats about it… ideal for me, sorry for those that already have most of these…

Wow. I just listened to the new album Modern Rave today and was just so inspired. I am from Texas and not many people, if any, know of Vibert. But I do. Have always been a huge fan and listened to everything hundreds of times. I didn’t want to produce until I heard Luke. I am an artist. I draw cartoony and abstract art. With a little bit of street art/urban style mixed in. The cartoony and fast paced sounds really fit me.

Anyway. I really want this sample pack. I can not find it anywhere and the original source is a broken link. I just got my first MPC. I am 33 and I really feel dumb for waiting this long. I have been more into DJing ( drum n bass of course! ) but I hit a wall. Felt stuck. I don’t want to produce DNB tho, I want to make my own genre like Luke.

If you are reading this, I would very much like to talk sometime. I would say I am your biggest fan. You are my favorite producer and I think you are without a doubt, hands down, 100% a genius.

Please, help me find those samples. I really want to see what LUKE VIBERT found! PS if Luke by some chance reads this, please get in contact with me and I will happily send you a free painting or two.

Peace! ( and yes, dnb doesn’t get the respect it deserves. )

According to a recent interview in issue 67 of Electronic Sound magazine, Luke had to take down the breaks for copyright reasons.

Random claim to fame: my first, fleeting, hands on encounter with a 303 was courtesy of Luke Vibert and Jeremy Simmonds. Must have been around the time they were making their album “Weirs”. They were genuinely lovely blokes.

Sweet Hallelujah !

Oh my god I’ve been looking for some decent breaks for forever!

So much stuff I downloaded was total crap.

These are brilliant!
