Loopers

Thought I’d give a quick update on the Aeros…short story is that so far I think it’s pretty awesome and I’m glad I got it.

My first full day with it I was extremely frustrated with myself for not being able to figure out certain basics and just could not find certain details in the manual or in tutorials…thanks to the folks here who cleared up some important stuff! I put too much pressure on myself as I was trying to write all new material for my set, include bass vi looping and figure out arrangements and how to pull them off and I had two days to do it…that was just dumb

I came up with something I thought was a good start and recorded it live and posted it here. Nothing fancy, but a nice start. Had it all rehearsed and felt good about. A the gig, I opened my set with this tune and totally screwed the whole thing up! Instead of hitting ‘next part’ for the B section, I hit ‘next track.’ This caused a snowball effect of pretty comical proportions. The rest of the set went quite well and no one realized how badly I’d messed up…they just said it sounded great, then got a bit confusing for a bit

At first I was concerned about having to change ‘songs’ on the Aeros quickly, but it turns out I didn’t need to bother with that at all. I just use the same Aeros song, muted and cleared loops during outro transitions and was thrilled to see that the Aeros handled all the tempo changes very well. Very happy with it so far. This is my live rig at the moment. All velcro’d down and easy to transport in a flight case
