Valhalla is my go-to and it has delay times of up to 20s. But I want longer. What delay plugins are out there for the job? Any recommendations?
I dunno. I like timeless 3. Not sure how long it goes.

I’d also suggest just adding a second delay in series. If you use them as send FX the first one could be 100% wet before it feeds the second and it would be the same as just running a single super long delay
Out of interest, what do you use such extended delay times for? I only ever use short rhythmic delays

Cool. Yea the delay series is an interesting idea. I think it would still give me delay repeats every 20 seconds, if that’s how long the delay time can go for the last delay in the series? It would just take longer for the first repeat to happen? Will try it out though.
I’m just getting back in to tape loop tapestry style stuff and seeing if there’s a plug-in out there that can do 45-60+ seconds of delay time. I have some workarounds but it would be nice to find one suited for the purpose.
If your DAW lets you run a send from a bus back to itself you could set the plugin feedback to zero and use the send as a feedback control
I’ve never used it, but Augustus Loop from Expert Sleepers advertises up to 3600 second delays!
It’s also an emulation of tape based delays so it sound like it might fit your exact use case as described above.

3600 seconds??? Just be careful with that one hour loop…. Might scare the sh*t out of you if you forget to turn it off

Curious in which creative application this is usefull. Got the Expert Sleepers Disting with a max 45 min delay algorithm in Eurorack and to this day haven’t got figured out why i would ever will use that. To automatically repeat a whole album?

Yea…an hour is kinda long.
Maybe if you’re in and out of the studio throughout the day and are adding melodies here and there. Get a few of those long ass delays at slightly different lengths on each track. Lay down somethjng at breakfast and see what’s up by dinner.
