Looking for a portable Mix table for Synths(cue and returns)

Interesting products, 12+2 recording is great.
but they take more place. Rack 1u format is ideal for my setup. 18 inputs, 2 sends, mixB with same available space, hard to beat.

You can use line inputs, but for fx send?
Maybe with headphones monitoring settings…

oh yeah probably that one can be what your are looking for completely forget that one

But no sends returns as well as the zoom i guess without workarounds

With the zoom, headphones can be apparently used as send as I suggested.
Return is possible anyway.

Have you looked at the blender?

Sure, a little workaround would be easy I guess as there are 12 inputs and 6 outputs.
For studio purpose, I keep my A&H Zed 14FX, but to move on jam, the bluebox seems a nice lite and spaceless solution full of possibilities.
Loopop review on bluebox is quite interesting on this subject :

Nice mini jacks toys! :pl:
Interesting too, but I can’t stand blue nor round things (except wheels).
Mini jacks…
Still loosing space.

The Blender could have been smaller, the BBox cheaper!

The Bluebox sure is intriguing.

I will wait till there is actual user feedback on that thing though.

However it ticks a lot of boxes as I often need a small mixer and recording solution while jamming in case something nice comes up.

Mine is already pre-ordered. I will let you know in December or January.

In October 2021 what is your advice for un portable mix table ? This is for my elektron synths : monomachine SFX-6, Analog rythm and Digitone. To use at home and maybe live.

In October 2022… is there something new and small, which fits the opening question?
Maybe the TE TX-6?

I think if you want 6 stereo channels, cue, and fx sends in a somewhat portable format, you might need a DJ mixer such as the Xone 96, Model 1 etc. (I am not sure the TX-6 can cue indiv. channels, or has send/return for external fx).

Edit: just realized TX6 actually has cue and aux outs. Really impressive for its size!

Its price too ! And I don’t think it’s solid, nor possible to repair. Small fingers needed.
