what’s most likely happening is that you have a trig on step 1 but the duration of the sample is longer than the 4 bar cycle length all you should have to do is halve the tempo of your project (making sure you count/play in double time)
and can you individually halve by example machine one with the sample in without the other machines being halfed because when I halve the tempo everything is being halved
ok if I understand I just have to halve my tempo and in scale mode put it on 2x
Unfortunately not. It’s something I’d like to.
A workaround would be to play with individual track length and master length/division. Though that might create a mess of your entire arrangement.
if I want to play a long sample completely I have to expand the pattern scale (example instead of 16 expand to 32 or 64
I’m at my work else I tested it that’s why I ask it now
but can you let your sample play on a machine without putting a trig on the sequencer .
I did it yesterdag but forgot how I did it
Whoa. If you figure it out again post how you did it please
You can do this by manually pressing a pad. As long as there isn’t a choke-related pad it’ll play all the way through if your settings are correct. You can also sequence it this way.

Right. I was thinking there might be some way to do it without having to trig it - pad or otherwise - at all.
Depending on what the sample is, loop it? Or edit it to 64 bars within the bpm in a daw?

if you turn the loop on for a sample it will cycle play without a trig, you have no control over it tho (unless you tweak the pitch, start & end times), try putting a slow random lfo on the start or finish parameter it’ll get you some cool glitchy results
alright guys thanks for the info and support.
i’m starting to get grip on the AR
what a machine lov it
new addiction haha
