Live recording mode

how do you undo the sound produced on the live recording note

i may be wrong but you’ll need to take it out of live rec mode by hitting record once so the led is solid, selecting your track then following the steps and deleting the bum note

I’m sorry but this is made very plain in the manual.

Pg. 43

  1. Hit RECORD to get out of live recording mode.
  2. Find the sequencer step in the pattern that you want to remove. Active trigs are lit up with a red LED.
  3. Hit that button in the sequencer to delete the trig.

OR if you want to delete your whole Live Recording, make sure Live Record mode is on and hit FUNCTION + CLEAR.

Have you thought about reading the manual, watching some videos or fucking with your box for more than a few days before spamming the forum with your lazy threads

You should watch Cuckoo’s 2 tutorial videos on the Rytm. They are both around an hour long and really, really good. Go for the earlier one first. You can find them on Youtube. His name is Cuckoomusic.

@elektronot geez, don’t be a dick…
way to welcome someone to the community…

To be fair, he has posted five threads over two days (multiple threads for the same problem), it clutters up the forum with problems that could be solved by watching videos and reading the manual.

I agree with the sentiment but not the language.

easy in realtime mode, hold No and select the hit on the track of your choice, same goes for realtime plocks if you want t o erase, hold no then press encoder for param you want to erase - both act in a temporal sense, so you can dip in and out

to be fair you can read the manual cover to cover and everything makes sense, it doesn’t necessarily stick though, more specific questions would help though - also the forum has been here before, quick search brings up all sorts of hints not too obvious in the manual

I disagree, OP hasn’t even cracked open the manual and has posted a bunch of separate questions in this forum. This isn’t acceptable IMO. He hasn’t even tried to help himself.

sorry guys didn’t mean to botter you . read the manual half but i thought if there was something i didn’t see that i could ask it

my apologies

thanks for the help anyway

In live mode, you can also clear already recorded trigs by pressing no + pad of the track you want to erase.

great, now I feel bad :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re free to ask any question you want, but if it’s something that’s clearly stated in the manual then you might get some sarcastic answers along with the good answers.

The Elektron instruments cram lots of functions into small boxes so reading the manuals to understand what’s happening is arguably more necessary than with other instruments.
