I’d like to know if I can go directly with eurorack levels into Octatrack (and reduce there in the mixer page the gain in…), or should I get an output module on the spaghetti synth side before going into Octatrack? Thank you very much

Best way to gain stage synth output into OT?

Looking for advice on the best way to gain stage external synths being run into the OT. I just want the signal to come in and then go out through the mains with the sound as similar as possible to how it sounds when I put the source synth’s headphones on. I was running my A4 into my OT today and noticed a big difference comparing headphones on both machines. I cleared the OT filters and FX… I am however not 100% that I’ve considered gain staging closely enough as possibly causing this difference…
