Hello. I have a live set with mainly octatracks. I have a question.
so I can’t speak English well so I’m using a translation, so please forgive me if I make mistakes.
I have been using Octatrack mainly as a sampler and for a mixer I have been using 1010music Bluebox or Mackie analog mixer.
I’ve decided to use the octatrack as a mixer as well to reduce the amount of equipment I have to use,
and I’ve connected the main out of the ot to an Endorphin goleden master peadal.
I have a live set with mainly octatracks, and I am confused by the over-input of the music from my ot projects.
I’m wondering if the reason is that the input gain of golen master is 12db. I have a question.
I have adjusted the level of each track on the ot by turning down the output of the ot, the pedal is clipping, but it is a little better.
Should I adjust the output of the ot to match the input equipment in this way?
I have not worried about the input gain of bluebox, mackie, etc., but now that I know about the input gain,
I would like to know if there are any best countermeasures I can take with octatrack. Do I have to make more than one project to match the external device?
Is there a better way to go about the master level of the ot?
Any ideas on how to do this?
