Let's see some old pictures of your early gear

Late 90’s… true ‘bedroom’ studio. I think this was around '98.

A friend came by and was taking pictures and video for a project he was working on.

I’m missing pics from 2-3 years later when I had my Yamaha 02r, a few analog synths (Alesis Andromeda A6 and Studio Electronics ATC-X) and some bits like the Virus B.

it’s nice to see some familiar faces in here :smiley_cat: Powerbook, RM1X, Waldorf Pulse/XT, SFX-6, Andromeda, keyboards and how things were mostly big, compared to a smaller form factor of nowadays machines

Pretty jealous I don’t have a dope 90’s setup like some others here!

Here, however, are the first synths me and my friends picked up and recorded with from probably around 2005.

Roland Juno 106 from eBay, Ensoniq ESQ-1 I spotted in my friend’s basement and got on indefinite loan, Akai AX-60 was picked up as a steal via a local Craigslist sale.

They all still work! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My first instrument. Gave it up for guitars and synths, but I like that I started on the 1.

My very first Homestudio…

Unfortunately I have zero music saved, back from that time. All lost.

here’s a fun bonus:
remote recording gig, recording an ICP show in Indy in 2009. Multitrack, for a DVD release.

If you’ve ever been to an ICP show, you know what the plastic is for.

Basement of my old house. To this day, I’m still on my usual BS of samples, delays and bikes
Nothing changes!
