I can’t seem to get LEN on the TRIG page to have any effect on a sample.
I’ve looped a sample to granular eg very short loop, micro seconds.
Now I want it to play a specific length when trigged.
I can control that with the amp envelope, I know.
But according to the manual, when LOP is on LEN should control the length of the sample when trigged.
But I can’t seem to get the LEN parameter on the TRIG page to have any effect at all.
What am I doing wrong?
Correction, it worked once:
I set LOP on and in Live Recording mode was able to hold down on the pad and the TRIG recorded for the length I held down. This was refected in the automation recorded which showed the LEN parameter had automation.
The sample played back for the length I held the pad down.
Also, I was able to just add a TRIG in Grid Recording mode and adjust LEN to taste.
But…
I then tried it again and it’s back to the behaviour as above, with LEN having no effect.
Is this an issue with 1.70, or just my machine?
Anyone free to test this…?
On the AMP page, do you have Hold set to AUTO (Note)?

Also ensure AMP REL is low, by default it’s infinite.
Thank you, that was the problem, Hold wasn’t on AUTO.
