Left arrow (back) doesn’t get me to where I was in the Topic list

Instead, it goes back to the last Topic I was reading before getting to the Topic list and it annoys me having to scroll down to where I was :rofl:.

It wasn’t like that before. Anyone else?

I’m on an iPhone and using Chrome (not the App).

for me it’s even WORSE. It sends me to the last page (non-elektronauts) page i’ve visited. firefox pc
it’s like Elektronauts is not registered by the browser as a “full page visit”
but this not a new issue for me. working like this since several months now

For me, this only happens on websites with a sub-level navigation, like for example a site that shows you their inventory and you click through 3 pages of inventory, but if you don’t use the numbered page links at the bottom and go straight for the back arrow it takes you to the prior page.

For me Elektronauts html isn’t formatted that way, but if the script is on the page and not an independent URL per page, it will do that.

@Tchu when you press forum it takes you to the forum, correct? If you press left arrow from forum, does it take you back to last topic? Or 2 topics back?

It sounds like your browser isn’t registering forum as a page visit, which is weird. Is the behavior the same if you went to the other sections like news or media?

Does your browser have an option for “view mobile / view desktop site”?

I think I’d just try clearing cookies and cache/browsing data (not page history though). I think iphone browser still has a clear cookies and temporary storage feature. The reloaded data is coming from that file, so I’d clear it and let it build a new reference to see if it helps.

this has been happening for me too on Chrome for iPhone. i copied a link to a topic yesterday too and realized that it actually copied the link to the elektronauts landing page, strangeness

I noticed recently something similar on iOS chrome.

Whatever sub thread I’m reading if I slide the screen from the left ( sliding right ) to go back - it mostly returns to the main elektronauts page instead or ‘back’
I assumed it was an update to chrome that had messed up ‘back’

Glad it’s not just me who thought something was off.

Edit: by the way, I have, in Brave, the same problem with left arrow going to last topic but not returning to forum….but in Chrome all ok….
