Yo I love this. Mind sharing what you’re using for those tasty guitar effects?
This is clever, feels like it moves in and out of quantization. The string swells in the background give the guitar a pizzicato feel. Is this made on a newer MPC or is it all done in the box?
A lot of simpler for those choppy mandolin samples which I had previously recorded and made as a part of the song.
And I also like to record a fully wet track in ableton running that same mandolin track through some wild FX and then just use snippets of it for some FX in some moments.
Interesting to hear what you’ve felt with the strings since it was the first time I’ve composed something with a ‘quintet type orchestra’ in Ableton.
All of the strings and composition was made in Ableton.
Recently converted to a DAW setup after not really feeling an hardware groovebox for its limitations and workflow.
