Kris Kristofferson RIP

Kris was one of those who spoke volumes with fewer words.

They got Whistler!

So I first heard of Kris through the Blade movies but my mum used to remind me he was a highly respected outlaw county artist, which he most certainly was.

He was also in a respectable amount of films, and a pretty decent actor!

Rest in Peace Kris, you were a legend.

I liked some of his music, and he seemed like a genuine nice guy

Heaven’s Gate is pretty awesome if you haven’t seen it.

What a legend, and for so many reasons. I said Nooooooooo out loud when I heard. Sat on the back porch yesterday and Sunday Morning Coming Down came on the radio. That song is a bleak, beautiful masterpiece. And one of the many such songs he wrote. Loved Kris and he will be missed, but what a body of work he left us. A man of towering integrity.

Big fan. Songs of Kristofferson was always playing in the house when I was growing up. Saw him play in Glasgow in 94 and interviewed him for our art school radio station. Awesome. Presented him with a box of tunnocks teacakes…hope that wasn’t what done him in….
