Korg microKORG 2

Not to my knowledge, but I’ll be honest it hadn’t even occurred to look into this.

I figure they’re different approaches, but it would’ve been a nice opportunity for integration!

This one is great too. I always love his stuff. I was also very honored that he asked me if I would be interested in swapping patches with him. I’ve been meaning to do some more MK2 stuff, but got sidetracked.

I love the new keybed here compared to what other Korg devices seem to have. Not sure if it’s something I’ll buy, but like with other synths I am inspired by what it’s capable of.

I actually would rather have had the mK2’s mini-keyboard, which is usable and has a small footprint, than the bigger but floppier keyboards in the Opsix and Wavestate. Not that the microKorg2 keys are state of the art or anything, but they’re playable and don’t feel like some super-budget MIDI controller. Thanks to Korg for paying attention to the mini-key quality.

As someone with digital piano experience, I seem to prefer those keyboards that aren’t synth-action. I love Arturia’s devices for this, but I prefer other companies, for, say, their software experience. Novation has MIDI controllers that use digital piano-like keys, but only on a limited range of devices. Needless to say, I had my Launchkey Mini 25 sold off on eBay for that reason.

Unexpected. Crazy features, more crazy than the freak imo.

Ey it’s out already? Cool! Saw the posts from Sinevibes and recognized the UI

Guess I’ll be coding tonight then :joy:

There’s a reddit post with more information around the dev side lf things and with link to new discord community here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/LogueSDK/comments/1o06wjr/an_update_on_the_status_of_loguesdk_from_korg/

Looks really good! I’m excited!

Really interesting update!

Can somebody evaluate, how quickly patches switch when triggered by a program change? My Bass Station 2 is crazy fast, I can p-lock any step with a different patch and it works great (without using overlays).

So we have the ability to sample a loop and hen slice? This thing is outpacing my kiviak work and that’s a sampler.

Now that prices have come down and this has received Logue SDK support this becomes a very appealing little package. Very cool update!

Interesting that the best looking version is the cheapest.
