Love my Moisturiser, as much for its looks and presence as anything else. Knas/Karl Ekdahl makes eccentric, esoteric stuff (music, instruments, stuff) solidly and well, with an interesting underlying ethos and a nice sense of retro industrial design.
And now, more than a decade after the Moisturizer came out, he’s turned up with a new instrument. The “Far”, which seems to consist of a single string bowed by an electric motor driven wheel. Although there is perhaps a little more to the instrument than that. Whatever, intriguing stuff. I wonder when it will make it to market
