I got my 8 year old nephew a tape player for Christmas and I made him a mixtape of bass music when I heard that he had been listening to “edm” with his dad. Now I have decided to update him with at least one new tape a month, so I have taken on the challenge of finding clean music in a space dominated by drug and sex references, with the occasional pre-drop “Fuck!” thankfully hes been very receptive to the weird and wonky stuff I’ve given him so far, so at least he isnt picky!
anybody have any other examples of kid friendly mixes? would like to have some on backup if I dont have the time to put one together on my own.
