No doubt, but what is that proof of concept only? As I posted, I’ve got this digital harmonica, and I’ve thought of messaging the inventor about the possibility of a melodica. I’ve been putting in a lot of time on this harmonica, and there’s a lot to be said for the ultimate portability and comfort of it, so this has been my go to for weeks. Lots of note positions requiring muscle memory, where a melodica design, on the other hand, would pretty much be a no-brainer so that you could bypass scales and exercises and get right to music.
It’s an open-source project - software and hardware.
Most of hardware you need to buy is linked on the website. The rest, apparently, just has to be 3D-printed.
