Just how loose is your OT MK1 cross fader? Videos please!

Alrighty… let’s see them. (hardware support might hate us for this)

I have two MK1s.

MK1 #1 I can get three full travels out of the cross fader with one flick.
That is to say, it starts from right and goes to left (1), bounces back to right (2), and makes it all the way back to the left (3)

My MK1 #2, not so much, just a little more than a single travel.

inna ice bucket challenge styleee I now challenge @tr909
your turn!

Huh, well there you go. Mine is usually tight in summer and a bit looser in winter. Thanks! I’ll open her up and have a fiddle…

I see fader shaming coming soon to this thread…

That’s pretty cool @Duncan, I’ll have to look at that.

That’s awesome.

But how loose is your crossfader?

My wife: “Hey honey whatcha doing?”

Me: “Watching how many times an OT crossfader can travel.”

My wife: “I want a divorce.”

So at that time I would say I had 100 % looseness, it would fall under its own weight - tippped side to side.
Personally I favour a bit of resistance - so took it down to 75%.
Don’t have an OT now😕
What is the read rate of the fader anyway?

Mine behave like yours, maybe a little bit more resistance. I like it like that but I thought about adding more weight. Maybe it would be better a bit more loose in that case.
