Jomox base 999 samples

Hello Nauts,

For a few years I am enjoying playing my xbase 999. Great instrument, love it. There is however one annoying thing I never got to work, loading new samples on it.
The theory of it I understand well, there is the midi editor from jomox you can download to make midi files with that contain the samples. Then you send the file to the xbase. I tried to this with different midi interfaces, different programs to send it with (the jomox one, midiOX, syses librarian). Tried different speeds to sent it, change timeout, but no luck. I am using a M2 air.
Anybody who can help me with this? Can you even do this with a modern computer? Any insights greatly appreciated!

The 999 is apparently very picky when it comes to MIDI interfaces.

Do you use the XBase 999 editor, from the bottom of this page, the 2023 version?

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, thats the editor I used. And I also read about the pickiness for midi interfaces.
Are there people that are able to load samples using modern computer systems and midi interfaces? Care to share the equipment used and the settings used for the transfer software?
