Issue with Retrig and clicking and downbeats

I’m having some issues with retrig and clicks.

When I hit a note on either my keyboard or the OT really fast (mimicking retrig) I don’t get any clicks, but when I use the retrig function in the Playback parameters, I get some seriously ugly clicks. Any way around that?

I’m also getting weird DOWNBEAT accents on the retrigs every 8 repeats. It’s very odd. It’s like

X-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-X-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

Bumping.

The envelopes aren’t retriggered with rtrg, probably has something to do with that.
If so you could maybe apply a super short quick fade in to the actual sample?
There’s trig counts in the micro timing page that are like retrigs and trig the envelopes but you can’t change their timing, might be worth checking out… The amp setup settings may affect how the trig counts behave…
I haven’t dealt with this so there might be better suggestions, and I don’t know about the downbeat accents…

You can also use Ot’s Arp to retrig, in order to trig envelopes too.

That’s bullshit. I declare shennanigans.

Actually, I thought it depended on how the Amp envelope was set up (Analog vs. RTRG vs. R+t vs. TTRG).

(wish I could have the OT at work to try these things out; I’m sure the folks around me wouldn’t mind…)
