Issue with Digitakt as soundcard

Hi All,

I just dusted off the Digitakt after a period of it being tucked away.

Updated to DT 1.20A, OB2, Logic pro X 10.5.1 and OS Catalina (machine is a MBP Retina 2015).

All works fine for a while using the DT as a soundcard but periodically the DT stops giving me any audio through the headphones jack, then it starts working as a standalone unit but not as a soundcard (no signal in Logic Pro X and no audio when I play an mp3), then sometimes it randomly starts giving me a signal in Logic again but still no audio, then pings back to ā€œstandalone modeā€ and gives me just internal DT audio and the signal disappears in Logic again.

Rebooting the DT works, but ten minutes later this erratic behaviour occurs again. Seems very unstable.

Anyone else having this issue?

Did you try 1.20A?

Sorry my mistake, 1.20A is what iā€™m running.

Could be a USB fault. Have you tried different ports etc? Unplugging other devicesā€¦?

Unfortunately Iā€™ve been testing it independently of other gear. Tried other ports - same behaviour!

Iā€™m having issues with my DT and FLStudio. Works fine for a bit, then it just stops putting out audio and has this high pitched digital stutter, almost like a buffer issue. I have to restart the DT and then reassign it as the soundcard in FLStudio. Driving me a bit batty as Iā€™m currently without a proper soundcard for a bit.
