Issue recording TV in Ableton

Bit confused, this is the first time I’ve really tried to use Ableton to record from my TV. Set up is TV to pc via USB and Ableton set to TV for audio in.

Ive got my DN2 L/R plugged into TV (TV is mostly just used for audio effects) but for some reason the sound is really bad, its like super quiet but also completely blown out and in the Red/fully clipped.

Are you using Windows Direct Sound or Asio4All or something else?

Sorry I’m on Mac, bad hannit of still cslling it a PC. I’m using the default. Core Auido I think itd called.
