Are any of these in any of your sound packs? If so Would love to also pick these up while I’m at it buying your dfam one! The choir and planetary assault bells are real nice

Is it there yet?
I’m so looking forward to use those 808 sounds!!
i was going to grab corevault to learn how you did the 606 sounds anyway, just waiting for the update so i don’t have to download a 2nd time!
done, ran into some problems with the transfert app, since syntakt update i realized transfert for digitone 2 is 1.9 and transfert for syntakt is 1.10.3 ![]()
i gave up after 2 bluescreens of death (now black in w11) will try tomorrow.
thanks !
Ouch! I think you should remove all traces from the Transfer software and then use only the latest one!
Jeanne thanks for continuing to do the lord’s work. Latest Core Vault update is mwah chef’s kiss.
If you’re taking requests, I have been trying to get bunch of Thomas Brinkmann Karin-type percussion for years. I’d buy a whole sound pack of these kind of sounds.
That’s what I was doing but in fact my dn2 was not up to date: 1.10C vs 1.10D ,1.10D is working well with latest transfert
Thank you! ![]()
Sounds like this are included in HyperVault:
… tamed (base-width) and combined with a kick, shaker, filtery perc and noise floor from ChromaVault, it could sound like this:
that first sound is insane!
keytracked LFO rates & key tracked negative comb filter frequency played as a big chord? trying to understand what’s going on there…
I need to glaze the Digitone 2 for a bit.
Track laying on the Digitone is AMAZING. I am a very big amateur, only started learning since Dec 2025, so apologies if I come off as naive… but I’ve been very much stuck in the “one track per sound” mindset.
Only today did I fully appreciate the incredible power of track layering on this device. It gives such fine tuned control over the sound you’re sculpting. It gives an entirely different perspective of how you can sculpt sounds.
Today I tried it with the idea of creating a bass drone to carry an entire track. I set 3 tracks on the DN2 to one of the 3 machines, FM Tone, WaveTone and Swarmer.
Using algorithm 3 on FM tone effectively gives you 3 oscillators, Wavetone 2, and Swarmer is I belive 7. So that’s 12 oscillators to control with 3 tracks. Each track can be assigned 2 LFOs, have it’s own filters and settings.
During live play you can dig deep into the individual component tracks and bring out the aspects of the sound you want at that very moment.
… And lets not forget Control All!
THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE DEVICE!
I haven’t really explored what’s possible with layering yet. Now that you mention it, you could actually layer 16 tracks of Swarmer to get 16x7 = 112 oscillators.
But don’t forget the polyphony. Play a 16 note chord, 16x112 = 1792… that’s a big swarm.
Edit: Nope this is wrong, thanks for the correction @Jeanne
… Layering uses up the polyphony … and to get the supersuperswarm, you can use unison mode instead, which uses up polyphony in the same way, but has a handy detune parameter …
Extra hero points for the first person to recreate Deep Note. ![]()
Considering some of the feedback I got from some of my friends and family when I shared some of the sounds I tried making, I might have gotten close ![]()
Way more my taste, this is One Note:
Edit: converted to MP3
as in, I‘m pressing one note (only one voice polyphony) 6 successive times
however,
thx deep note thingy
Sick. Wonder how many units have moved thanks to your sound demonstrations. ![]()
I’d wager at least a couple dozen.
