Is there a way to copy a sound from one track to another?

Is there a way to copy a sound from one track to another? I’ve been doing it by copying pages but that’s tedious. Any way to do it all in one go?

I mean you can save the sound as a preset, but that’s a bit tedious too

Copy Sound :
TRK+REC, TRK+STOP

You can copy all sounds with KIT DATA.

@eangman This doesn’t seem to be in the current ST manual. It’s not under 17. USEFUL KEY COMBINATIONS and also doesn’t show up when I search for “[TRK] + [REC]” or “copy (track) sound”.

Note that you can copy the FX track settings from one pattern to another, by pressing TRK+REC when you have the FX track selected. Then selecting another pattern and pressing TRK+STOP.
Same procedure as copying a sound but with the FX button lit.

Ah yes, it is indeed. I’d really expect this to be under 17. USEFUL KEY COMBINATIONS, especially for a device that doesn’t have kits.
