Looking for a plug in for Ableton that I can try so I don’t have to be at my desk when I use ableton. I thought Elektron was going to release a step-sequencer inside Overbridge in like Autumn 2015, but I haven’t heard a peep about that.
simple answer: no! because you cannot hold a step and change a value with a mouse

Bumping this old thread instead of starting a new one, still nothing out there? Mostly looking for probabilistic sequencing. I’m away from the studio but I’ve got my laptop and iPad. Not looking for a full blown replacement but surely there are some fun virtual sequencers out there. Open to suggestions for weird stuff too like reaktor spiral, surely there’s other weird sequencers in reaktor, or even iOS stuff

VST-wise, my favorite is Numerology. iOS-wise, Bram Bos’ Rozeta suite, Patterning and Aphelian (plus numerous others).

Keep a keen eye out for the upcoming drambo on iOS. Also grooverider on iOS has really nice sequencer features, a lot like the new korg electribes but better + elektron trig conditions.
StiX by Xils is a pretty nice one.

FL studio has a “groove machine” VST that is fun to play with and is laid out like an old school sequencer.
Yeah I was hoping someone smarter than myself might have made something, not too surprised though, can’t inagine it would be simple. Pretty sure I saw someone made a machinedrum in reaktor
