Is there a reason for no scene control over midi tracks?

I was just thinking how dope it would be to be able to crossfade midi parameters. (Sorry if there are other threads on this, I just tried to do this and totally lost momentum on a jam)

For example:
Arp on/off
Arp Speed
Arp Range
Note Length
Transpose

Is there a reason this isn’t possible? Can It be added in an update?

Cheers!

Been asked for since day one.

Not sure if offical explanation.

Basically scared of overloading the midi stream.

Been discussed extensively.

bummer… That would be so rad

Basically I only have two hands but I want to play my modular on one hand and manipulate a bunch of the midi data sequencing my modular with the other. The crossfader would be a perfect solution.

oh well… :frowning:

Join the queue, or do what I do and do magics.

Join what queue?

The queue of people asking for Midi Scenes since day one.

haha. I can live without it. Its a very minor first world problem. Someone else can take my spot

Guga’s Morph4 brings you this.

Depends if your need is worth 170€ though

I am using fe. 4 midi tracks for midi ch.1 and 4midi tracks for midi ch.2 per pattern. This way I can prepare and switch midi sequences quite effectively. Ofc midi scene would be much better…

from reading dialogs with the maker of the Little Deformer, it seems like code takes place. You reach a moment when you don’t have room for more, but you can re-write or correct bugs. The limits of hardware.
