I upgraded from a model:cycles to a syntakt, and now I’m finding out that the automation that would record smoothly on the cycles is not possible on the syntakt…i find this odd…and it looks like i may not be wrong … please help !

You mean by ‘live recording’ and/or by ‘trigless steps’?

Well while live recording unquantized the modulations arent smooth but steppy

Yes so theoretically, the only explanation would be a different interpolation on MC. Should be tested side by side, otherwise we’d just talk about a souvenir…
