during his RBMA lecture, Moodymann said something along the lines of

hope im not racistly remembering that wrong lol, but i think that was it. Point is, projecting human qualities on your gear is perfectly acceptable.

Itās quite common I think. I donāt think I do that though. I berate myself though from time to time if I have one of those ānothing goes rightā days.

I definitely talk to pre loved gear. When im āimprintingā on it, to make it mine (like Jacob in Twilight).
While im cleaning the last owners filth off it, removing grime, stickers, and making it sparkle as it was meant toā¦
O.K Reading this back definitely makes, āit puts the lotion in the bucketā seem like a birthday wish in a hallmark cardā¦
