Is it possible to use the MD without using his sequencer?

hi there,
i don’t own a MD but i’d like to know if it’s possible to use it via MIDI just like expender and control all parameters with CC and trigs via MIDI channels?

Yes, it is. Pay attention to the Map Editor, described on pages 59 and 60 of the manual, and the MIDI Control reference in Appendix B.

and last question all tracks of the MD are like midi channel 1 > 16 or it’s like one only kit channel?

4 channels (see manual page 59 & Appendix B).

I’ll add all machines can be triggered on 1 channel (notes, not CCs).

Warning, sounds triggered by midi have their phase reversed. Can be annoying if you mix sounds played by the sequencer.
Confirmed: Machinedrum MIDI in phase problem
