quite expensive and subscription only. i downloaded and installed the 2 free plug ins (have to customize the installed when it allows it).
Just tried them out myself. The free ones are … interesting, but I don’t really see a use case for them. The paid ones however … are really fun, but too expensive for my taste, and the yearly(?) subscription is a definitive no-no.
thinking about getting spectral morphing and crossing for 20 euros each, but this is putting me off a little:
Access to updates :
ASAP individual plugins : no access to updates.
ASAP Full Bundle : access to updates during 2 months after software purchase.
IRCAM Forum Premium Membership : access to all updates during one year.
what if there is a bug? then I have to pay 20 bucks again each, to be able to download the updated version? weird
hmm, maybe I should just use this and wrap my own m4live case around it for using in ableton
did you contact them directly about this, I’d be very interested in what they had to say?
Yeah, I should ask them. So far Cross and Morph are in Demo mode while I also downloaded the free ones. And I dig them, So I guess I will spend 40 bucks at one point
I could get a one year education license and have all of their stuff (but no updates after that year), but I don’t want to clutter my Mac with stuff I don’t use. I can recommend the free Spectral Remix one. It helped making a spontaneous, noisy Jam sound much better, instantly.
The cross and Morph is based on the SuperVP library that I posted before. And it sounds pretty noice
BUT I can also recommend this freebee, If you’re into the Cross/Morph stuff and use Ableton
love the muddy mess it can create:
and I just found this one:
