There are clamps which hold the phone with quarter inch connection, from there you can adapt to standard video/photo tripods or monitor/mic arms…

Currently I use a phone holder that you world user in a car. It has a suction cup , an adjustable arm and holds the phone securely. Does the job

Manfrotto variable friction arm + clamp + camera adapter + a Manfrotto smartphone clamp. It’s a set of parts sold separately but also as a combo. You can find it in the better foto equipment stores around you. After a lot of research, this is BY FAR the most flexible, easy to setup and solid solution out there.

i need this! :grinning:

nice thanks for the info :slightly_smiling_face:

Any microphone arm/stand have a standard size thread
and you can normally get a phone/iPad connection kit at music shops to fit the thread
Pretty much similar to the post above just with microphone arms it is possible

I used one of those DIY vice’s with the suction base. The jaws were only just wide enough for the phone but the mass of the think is handy to reduce/avoid vibration.

A bit Heath Robinson but it worked.

if i ever needed that, I’d use my
SmallRig (Smartphone) Clamps/Arms for that

Most cheap smartphone clamps only have one 1/4" thread, I have this one Manfrotto Pixi Clamp which has two 1/4" threads. Looks like the one you have, but Manfrotto has different models.

A clamp like this helps to get the angle right in tight situations.

Its this one I have it bolts directly to the camera adapter head of the arm

Anyone know a solution to hold 1kg of mirrorless camera like this?

The same arm i showed
