Hi, has anyone tried the Condukt app? It’s a performance-focused MIDI controller and it’s compatible with Elektron gear.
You can have per-channel sequencers, morphs, scenes, faders, etc., so you can control a lot of things quickly and relatively easily. It’s somewhat similar to Tensor (and similar apps), but without kits and with a different interface.
I don’t see anything in the manual about syncing to an external clock. I am loathe to let an app be the master clock for my hardware setup. Otherwise, looks like an excellent app for performance control.
Anyone heard of this iOS app and tried it yet? From the looks of it automatically knows which CCs control which parameters on any class compliant instrument you connect to it, and has sequencer and LFO modules and custom performance macros / layouts. They explicitly list elektron devices as being compatible with it.
Looks like it could be a very handy companion tool that can improve workflow amongst other things. Would be cool if they implemented timeline based automation and fake parameter slides.
After watching a couple more videos to get a better feel for what this does, I grabbed it. Been playing with it and an OP-XY, Digitakt, and EP-133 so far. It has some very interesting features and adds some nice functionality to the OP-XY in particular. Pretty cool!
Added my MicroMonsta to the mix. I connected it via USB and it was immediately recognized and I didn’t have to map any CCs or anything - they just showed up to the party, ready to rock. Nice!
Condukt author here, thanks for all the love One of the reasons we really want people to submit to midi.guide is that a whole bunch of other devices like Reliq, Oxi and Deluge can use those definitions to control the same synths. Some like The Drop ship with the whole midi.guide database onboard.
