[IOS] Condukt app

Hi, has anyone tried the Condukt app? It’s a performance-focused MIDI controller and it’s compatible with Elektron gear.

You can have per-channel sequencers, morphs, scenes, faders, etc., so you can control a lot of things quickly and relatively easily. It’s somewhat similar to Tensor (and similar apps), but without kits and with a different interface.

Beta is open now:

Just been watching some of the videos on Youtube and this looks brilliant. Nice looking from a visual perspective too.

I don’t see anything in the manual about syncing to an external clock. I am loathe to let an app be the master clock for my hardware setup. Otherwise, looks like an excellent app for performance control.

Oh thanks this seems very nice , lfo & sequencers on top of dn2 and tonverk gonna test it tomorrow

This looks interesting. I’ll buy it at some point and see what’s its like with an Erica Lxr 02. I noticed that was on their midi list.

You can download the beta for free now if you want to give it a try

I wonder if you can midi map the faders , basically having the app do the tricky stuff then have a simple controller for the hardware feel.

TL;DR: instant preorder!

I checked and it doesn’t seem possible. At least I did not find any option to midi map.

I tried also to do the trick through AUM but it is not compatible.

Same !

Anyone heard of this iOS app and tried it yet? From the looks of it automatically knows which CCs control which parameters on any class compliant instrument you connect to it, and has sequencer and LFO modules and custom performance macros / layouts. They explicitly list elektron devices as being compatible with it.

Looks like it could be a very handy companion tool that can improve workflow amongst other things. Would be cool if they implemented timeline based automation and fake parameter slides.

Wow, fantastic modular environment for MIDI Synths. Love it, purchased , done. Let the fun begin! Thanks to the developer(s) !

After watching a couple more videos to get a better feel for what this does, I grabbed it. Been playing with it and an OP-XY, Digitakt, and EP-133 so far. It has some very interesting features and adds some nice functionality to the OP-XY in particular. Pretty cool!

I was surprised that it has the M:C but not the M:S. Am intrigued to try it with my JD-Xi, open the little powerhouse up some more.

Added my MicroMonsta to the mix. I connected it via USB and it was immediately recognized and I didn’t have to map any CCs or anything - they just showed up to the party, ready to rock. Nice!

It is using midi.guide you can just submit a mapping there and it will use it in condukt

Yeah but then I’d have to actually do something instead of grumbling on a forum. Not in this economy.

Condukt author here, thanks for all the love  One of the reasons we really want people to submit to midi.guide is that a whole bunch of other devices like Reliq, Oxi and Deluge can use those definitions to control the same synths. Some like The Drop ship with the whole midi.guide database onboard.

Can you make some videos using the app with the OB-6 or the Prophet-6? I’d like to see the capabilities with the extra LFOs.

Sadly I don’t have either but you can see the 4 LFOs modulating Microfreak parameters, basically the same idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT9_hDPEJbQ
