This is a pleasant surprise! I like that they went all in on polyphonic sampling. There are quite a few boxes that do auto-multi-sampling and/or support polyphonic sample tracks, but this is purpose-built and seems super powerful. It was also fun to watch EZBOT struggle with the subtle workflow changes.
Can’t wait to hear the tunes people make with it!
This is my biggest wtf as well. Like you can add one other device to it to use all these effects. The OT configuration of 4in 4out makes A LOT more sense for this device.

yes because there are digital ones (like the ERICA filterbank module)
and also because it is like it is completely NOT a filterbank.
It makes no sense to call it filterbank if it sounds like a 3db EQ
but i am sure there must be something wrong, it cannot sound like this.

Still, the filterbank in Tonverk must be wrong. ELEKTRON knows, how a filterbank sounds and of course it won’t sound like an SND FB14, but …
Especially as it won’t have the analog mojo, I would like resonance, tilt or some other controls besides just the band controls.
Sold out some fast, from Elektron’s website. It’s cheaper than in Canadian stores, so I’ll likely wait for it to come back in-stock.

I was an inch away from buying the OXI One MKII for sequencing purposes and this has made me question everything.
I think for me to buy one, I’d want it to be more different from the normal Elektron, XOX workflow, which I’ve kind of moved on from on the whole. Totally a me issue though, it’s definitely a fine bit of kit and the effects sound really fucking decent. Not gonna lie, my trigger finger got itchy during @Jeanne’s video.
