Similar boat. I canât add on anytime soon mostly because I like what I have and need to finish some things.
But damn, this fucking looks great.
Youâre totally correct. I jumped the gun before I knew what exactly this was for. Still learning, still jumping off a cliff before I know how high it is.
One can use effects like Dual Comb, Frequency Shifter and/or Filterbank to animate the overtones. And/or use long sounds (instead of single cycle waveforms) with the fade loop function, or all of that together ![]()
Edit: In fact, check this misterious pad sound here: https://youtu.be/ioFUfB_sZXo?t=577
And thereâs that distortion effect that has a wavefolder, i think?
Robot FX factory - sounds good!
Itâs not like they were going to talk about a leak one year early.
And thereâs that distortion effect that has a wavefolder, i think?
No wavefolder, but rectifier. I hope Wavefolder will come soon.
you will be charged duties since they ship from Sweden AFAIK. Might be worth buying from a CA retailer instead.
This was never a denial that the Tonverk was coming, it was just âexpectation managementâ -
Hi there, thought weâd chime in.
Itâs great to see the speculation in the threads even if things occasionally drift a little off-piste. At any given time there are a number of prototypes in various stages of development. It would be strange if we didnât have any since creating music machines is what we love doing. Some eventually see the light of day and others stay in the proto stage.
But⌠we do have other fun hardware things in the pipeline. And Overbridge for Digitakt II is soon done for some multi-streaming audio madness. So, speak soon.
If the implementation is similar to the DN2 then itâs going to be kinda ass at capturing live poly playing, especially with a lot of harmonic movement within chords etc
Microtiming is per note as on Digitone 2.
Probability is also per note. Wish that for DN2 !
@Jeanne mentioned that it can load SFZ.
weird the loopop video said it canât
hmm⌠i listened to more ytâs now and ELEKTRON did an amazing job with the new fx.
Only the filterbank, which i a had been wishing for for so long does not so gnarly at all it seems. or do the ytbers not know how to use it? Did this guy here not set it to wet maybe?

this is how it should sound:
Looking at routing option and fx on TV, actually OB for ipad and dt2/dn2 would have the same if not better capabilities. Maybe i am wrong
It looks amazing, but very open-ended, and as an undisciplined song finisher, probably not something I should be gassing for. In any case I really like the new form factor.
What am I missing?
I love effects and all the routing options. But why would I want 6 outputs and only 2 inputs with all that power? Like I can play a bunch of samples polyphonically, but if I want to instead use a track to sequence midi on external gear, I can no longer really get the most out of this box with all the routing and effects. Especially with the way overbridge works, because if I had a bunch more physical inputs then I could still use overbridge to access all the busses, sends, tracks, et cetera as separate outs for separate treatment. But overbridge wonât increase the source inputs that I can feed into these tracks to use all the onboard effects.
I donât understand why they would make a polyphonic sampler with crazy sick effects and not a crazy sick effects box that also comes with some sick polyphonic sample playing functionality.
Help me understand the intention here if you can ![]()
Can I just say that the animating size graphic on the Rumsklang verb (going from a little box to outer space) using just a couple of pixels is a stroke of genius? It looks so cute ![]()
A cool machine for sure! After watching videos about it, I however think that if Iâm going to burn 1500 euros on an Elektron device, Itâll be the Analog Four mkII instead of the Tonverk. For what I do (or rather, TRY to do in my spare moments of freedom), Iâd have a better fit by getting the A4. Anyway, congrats to Elektron for delivering us the Tonverk!
can a track with an insert fx be used as the input for another track (again with its own fx then)?
Like the âtriple layersâ on Kurzweil synths?
