Introducing Syntakt

Good points! I had more synth, pad or atmosphere sounds in mind and forgot the drums.

This just popped up on Facebook. Apparently it’s Syntakts PCB. Maybe something can be discovered regarding the elusive +drive

What do you want to know?

OK, yeah. Now i see it. It has the exact same converters as the Octatrack but without the timestretch chip. And i can see the model cycles kick drum generator in there and the lack of a third lfo processor. Gladly my Syntakt arrived today. Time to do some circuit bending…

I’m no technician, but could this barrel be where the memory juice is stored?

That’s the Hate capacitor. It absorbs all the criticism from people who’ve never laid hands on it.

Are there two of them?

That makes more sense, I thought HB was Hold Beer, like it was calling to me or something.

lol man if that refers to actual gripes people have had about lack of AR toms, someone’s gotta learn about filter pinging!

chip experts will be excited when they see this

Explains why it costs more than a Digitone…

Uli will likely go bananas

That would be great!

dual CPU, as digitone, predictably, so it’s not an optimization, but just adding x2 CPU power to perform all this digital and analog stuff at the same time
this reduces the chance of RYTM massive update, I think
