I did. Was really surprised too I had to double check to make sure it wasnāt a scam or something. I honestly think itās a mistake on FedEx/Elektronās side as it just does not make sense that it would cost 20% more than everywhere else just by ordering from them. I think it would have come up before as well unless thereās some other new ridiculous Brexit law that has popped up.
@thermionic yeah I do agree that usually it should be explicitly stated to avoid doubt, but as you said at the end the MSRP is usually relatively close. Ā£899 vs Ā£850 is reasonable enough to assume that it includes taxes. ~Ā£1100 vs Ā£850 doesnāt feel right 
I could have made a silly assumption since itās usually explicitly stated if VAT is not included, but I honestly donāt think so. Logically anyway. Iāll keep this posted though once I find out/get a response from them.
And just to add to your edit, not sure if itās a mistranslation or just hasnāt been changed since the 2000s but isnāt the European Community not a thing anymore?

What are they like? 
I donāt think itās unreasonable to be surprised to be charged like this (terms or none)ā¦ they process card payments in GBP for a sum that is basically the GB RRP (VAT included) for the box.
From the terms, they have obviously mastered selling DDP packages to the US - it would not be hard for them to get this right for the UK too.
Sigh!
We should really get back to talking about DN2 rather than international logistics.

Right?? Like this may be my copium speaking but Iām 99% sure itās just a mistake, mainly down to all the reasons you listed. Iāll keep you updated though. Hopefully itās a one off and yours and the others go through smoothly.

Thanks. Iāve dropped them a ticket to ask to cancel my order since mine is still āprocessingā and not shipped yet - and Iād prefer to avoid any tangles if possible.
No idea if they will see the ticket before shipping takes place but weāll see. Will keep you postedā¦. And I will definitely still be picking up the machine. Iāve used DN an awful lot (even though I have an FS1R!) and the new box is a great upgrade.

Yeah absolutely. Will be doing the same but itās the first time I ever ordered something the moment it released so was quite excited

Yeah itās weird, only elektron devices.
Oh, the hard sync features on the wave jawn are absolutely bonkers. Iāve been wanting that for aaaaages on one of the digis. Plus, that piano sound may be the only stock preset I ever keep on a synth. Haha.
