Introducing Digitakt II

turnlab (Belgium).

just got shipping confirmation. their reverb page says they may have more ready to ship tomorrow. could be worth shooting em a message.

Any Australians receive their unit yet? Mine arrived in Melbourne this afternoon from Soundseasy in NSW (I buy all my gear through them - they have the best service and prices) but the courier says it will arrive Monday/Tuesday. Hoping for a Friday miracle but will be honouring my OG DT over weekend by making my original brand of crappy beats.

Yep, I picked my order up from Sounds Easy yesterday (so I guess that doesn’t really count). The team told me they’d been packing and sending quite a few.

Hope yours gets there tomorrow. I’m loving mine!

hey all, does anybody know if digitakt projects can be imported into a digitakt ii? I may ship my sp404mkii away and get a digi ii :stuck_out_tongue:

Got my Sounds Easy delivery earlier today, Blue Mountains NSW - got here a day quicker than the AusPost estimate - you may not have long to wait.

It is possible but some changes may occur, from what someone told me. Check DT2 bug reports.

Cool thanks

I normally order from Sounds easy, though found a random 10% off coupon on DjCity that worked, almost $200 off couldn’t believe it. My unit is expected to arrive either tomorrow or Monday, take a guess which one it will be :joy:

Mine is shipped! Now begs the question. Should I keep my OG? I still have my ARMK2 and I’m guessing the workflow is different between the OG and DII I’d probably trip up. :joy:

Thanks for your detailed feedback. I will consider making some additions to the illustration. Keep in mind though, that it is just showing a simplified version of the audio routing architecture. There are a lot of details (for the internal voices too) that I have choosen not to include, because it will make the illustration too crowded and hard to read. As it is now, it both shows that the audio from the external in and the returns from the FXs are added together in the mixer which is the important part. The thing that could possibly be amended is that the external in’s effect sends are not explicity mentioned where it says EFFECT SENDS. However, from reading about the external mixer in the manual, this should be clear. Thanks for bringing it up. I will mull it over a bit.

Don’t know if @Jeanne has already posted her excellent review for German speakers so I will:

DT2 should be here today… not sure if this was posted yet, but Substan’s showcase of it has me stoked.

I managed to smuggle my DTII into the house without it being noticed by the gear police

I was stood by the door so the DPD guy didn’t have to knock, and have packed the DT OG away and replaced it with the near-identical changeling.
