Not sure if that’s what you’re asking, but you can certainly play a sample, and have it loop on the second half, after the first half which would have the rise. Is it what you’re asking for?
For the first half to play once then for the second half to loop thereafter.
Yes, there is a Loop parameter that you can set arbitrarily, and that would define the loop start. Set it in the middle of the sample and you’re good.
That said, setting it in the middle of the sample is easy if your sample is cut to exact length (then it’s at the value of half the range of the loop parameter). There’s still no zooming in the waveform view on the Digitakt, so visually adjusting the loop start is challenging.
Live 12 seems to be better then I remembered . I used ableton as a slave to another DAW as well as a hardware sequencer
Curious if anyone can explain how midi presets work on the DT 2? Seems to me from the manual like they can be saved to kits, but not in the preset pool?
In stock at Moog Audio if any Canucks were looking to snag a DTII
just the shear sonic power it has over OT
when you start manipulating sounds on the DT mkII it sounds cleaner and more defined IMHO
They can be added as presets. Check out the live stream from Mario and Ricky as he explains how to save midi instruments as presets.
The product page doesn’t talk much about the preinstalled samples/sounds. Can any owners comment on the quantity/quality? I felt the Mk1 samples were very glitch/techno oriented with not enough suited to house. How is it on the Mk2? Thanks in advance.
I found the preset tracks to be very heavy on the bass side. I wasn’t a huge fan of most of the stuff but that’s not to say it was bad. Samples I’m still reviewing.
Thank you thank you!!
were we always able to nudge characters back or forward a space without deleting (func+ < or >) when naming a saved sample?
if so, this is the first im learning about it. i love it though. very convenient
I think so. And FUNC+YES inserts a space.
Maybe you can write this in the tips & tricks thread nonetheless.
Has the low input level been fixed yet?
Nope, but it should come soon enough.
Nice! Sounds like it’s right around the corner!
I just tried the Inputs yesterday, it doesn’t seem to have any problem. I’m wondering what make people say DT II has low line level Inputs?
Compared to DTOG it’s much lower. And I have to crank up anything to max volume I connect to it. Also threshold bugs while sampling have been reported which indicate the input level is off.
