sure, but the existing Harry Hill thread is already over here …

Come on peeps - let’s strive towards achieving 10% on topic before we hit 1000 posts

…analog/digital hybrid…2nd chapter.

but after watching loopops take on this, i know now, i’m totally fine with the analog purity of the former heats…

… @natehorn …i’m pretty sure, we won’t see any new batches of the ā€œoldā€ heat…it will take a while until they really run out of stock, but once happened, heat+fx will be the only heat left…

Probably. It’s got eight different circuits. Eight distortion pedals in one box.

Exactly this. Yet lets hope for the updates

Looks like a really nice box. Might have sequencer and lower price. Anyway sounds good and has very sweet form factor.

Doubtful. More likely towards an Effektakt with multiple ins and outs (via OB), Physical - only stereo in and out. If OB could be implemented between the digi boxes, it’d be a winner. I doubt that’d be possible, but maybe with mark II’s of all the digi boxes? Elektron goes modular with their own format - Elektron-kuggstĆ„ng (doesn’t quite roll off the tongue -Elektrokugg?). Think of all the racks they’d sell.

You could be right, but I wouldn’t necessarily bet on it - I dunno - could be dictated by the market to some extent. It’s still listed up on the website and if they were phasing it out I’d expect it to be flagged as discontinued. I’d have also expected the +FX to maybe have been labelled as a MKIII. I suppose we’d only have history to go on, did they leave the MKI’s up in the product lineup when they release the MKII A4 and AR?

But yea it’s a definite possibility - I guess I’m just remaining open minded to it - my track record with Elektron predictions isn’t great

Weird to have them both IMO. If I was an outsider looking at this list, I might wrongly assume that the MKII is the better version.

Thats how they getcha

I wonder how this unofficial MK3 release will affect all the ā€œthere will never be an OT MK3 because there’s never been an MK3 anythingā€ truthers out there

There still hasn’t been :grinning:

If you don’t want the effects it is

Is it now possible with this unit to treat two mono sources seperately or is is stereo only like the normal Heat? That’s for me a bit of a bummer with the Heat

most important question no one is asking (that i’ve seen)

has it got slides?

semi serious, sliding about between 512 preset settings sounds sloppery good fun in 2023.

Does it do mono in/stereo out? Would be a contender to replace a lot of guitar FX if so.

As long as the argument can live on forever!

As I recall Analog Heat MkI was on the Legacy products page the same day as MKII was released. I don’t believe Heat +FX is supposed to be MKIII by any means. It’s more like how there were machinedrum +drive and regular machinedrum available at the same time.
