Intellijel Atlantix

Some good drum sounds here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXSKa-MtI1k

And lots of nice patches in the Mylar vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK_76JHrdtA

I’m still happy with my Atlantis, but def want to try one soon

I already have it like this:

I still have 30 hp free on the 1U row, any suggestion? no need for a sequencer, delay / reverb already covered by sealegs, Im looking for something to improve Atlantix functionality, this is a self contained rack so no need for interconnectivity with other systems for now, its mainly intended as a performance unit…

Mults and attenuators always come in handy for me.

steppy, quadratt or more vcas would surely be useful

Finally ordered one along w/ the Atlx expander. I was really hoping to get it before the weekend but Moog Audio is dragging their asses shipping it

I wanted an Atlantis for years. Excited to finally grabbing an Atlantix!

If it had MIDI input I would totally grab one of these to replace my East Beast which I use for a simple analogue midi synth bass kind of voice, it sounds nice but is a bit limited unless you get deep into the midi clock dividing → lfo stuff.
this would be a lot more immediate to create fun sounds for a mono voice

It’s a eurorack module not a stand along semi-modular synth. Intellijel assumes you will be using it with one of the hundreds of available MIDI to CV options that are available in eurorack.

Yeah I get that. Just a nice form factor for a standalone little voice and my space is extremely limited

We’re getting a bit of topic, but I’ll mention there are lots of great small analog semi-modulars out there that are about the same size as the Atlantix and do include MIDI. Instruments like the Doepfer Dark Energy, the Dreadbox Erebus, immediately come to mind…

I actually think that Atlantix is hard to beat option for that sound. I started to make a list for a small case and with case, output module (I went with mixer with stereo send for delay), midi module, slew module (I have Roland 555 in separate case, but was aiming at Behringer 297) and additional envelopes (also from B) - and the price that I reached was close to Cascadia.

So I moved my interest to Cascadia, because it has most of that. But then: some options are not the same (very important for me is the way FX send is configured). And I really appreciate the way Atlantix is designed, like the Mod X and Y busses.

So in the end, I figured that I can go a lot less expensive route with Atlantix, downsizing few of my other cases and putting it there. I really started to appreciate simplicity and immediacy of some modules over theoretical possibilities of gigantic systems. Like… my QMMG probably will be sold, as it was not used since three to four years, while I use MMG in its place.

Heck! I can imagine pairing it with Neutron and cheap case for both and having so many utilities at hand! Including MIDI interface. :]
